In the wave of technological empowerment for energy innovation, TT-EE Technology has stood out and successfully built an innovative climate simulation laboratory project for State Grid Beijing Electric Power Research Institute, providing key technical support for solving the coal-to-electricity problem in northern China.

With a total area of 650 square meters, this laboratory integrates environmental simulation, building simulation and enthalpy difference experiments. It is the first large-scale comprehensive environmental simulation laboratory in China that can simultaneously simulate temperature, humidity, rainfall, snowfall, wind, frost, fog and solar radiation. Its internal space is spacious, with internal dimensions of approximately 24.3m × 12.1m × 6m, providing sufficient space for various experiments.

To meet the coal-to-electricity power grid configuration needs in Beijing and northern China, the laboratory undertakes an important responsibility, focusing on verifying the electric heating configuration of typical northern residential buildings under various winter climate conditions. Here, TT-EE Technology conducts performance testing experiments on various electric heating equipment to accurately evaluate the heating effect of various electric heating schemes under different weather conditions and different building insulation materials. This not only helps ordinary people scientifically select electric heating equipment, but also provides a solid scientific basis for the power grid to design distribution network power capacity.

TT-EE Technology has demonstrated excellent technical strength in this project. In the environmental simulation part, the temperature can be accurately adjusted between -40℃ and 50℃ with a control stability of ±1℃; the relative humidity is controlled between 25% and 100% with an accuracy of ±5%. The fog, rain and snowfall systems cover 270 square meters around. The rainfall of the rain system is continuously adjustable from 0 to 30mm/h, the maximum snowfall rate of the snowfall system is 0 to 5mm/h and can be continuous and stable for 24 hours, and the fog system can fill the entire space within 30 minutes. The wind speed is adjustable from 0 to 12m/s, the wind speed stability at the fan outlet is ±1m/s, the light intensity is 200 to 1000w/m², and full-spectrum lamps + infrared radiation are used to simulate real light.

The enthalpy difference laboratory also performs excellently. The air volume testing equipment has an air volume of 200 to 6000m³/h with a measurement accuracy of ±5%, a size of 3800×1600×1500mm, a split design and a detachable induced draft fan part. The temperature is controlled between -45℃ and 70℃ with a stability of ±0.5℃.
